Delete your PlateSense account

You can permanently delete your PlateSense account in the mobile app. If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion from this page without signing in.

Request account deletion

Send the request from the email address connected to your PlateSense account. We may ask you to verify ownership before deleting anything.

Request deletion by email

Never send us your password, invoice files, or payment details.

Delete directly in the mobile app

Open More, then Settings.
Choose Profile, Password & Data.
Open Account & Data Deletion.
Tap Delete Account Permanently and confirm both prompts.

Restaurant owners must remove all other team members before deleting an owner account. If you cannot do that, email support from the button above and we will help verify the request.

What deletion removes

Your PlateSense sign-in account and personal profile.
Your access to the restaurant workspace and team.
If you are the only owner and only member, the restaurant workspace, including stored invoices, inventory, counts, recipes, menu items, suppliers, reports, and related app data.

If other people remain in the restaurant, their shared restaurant workspace stays available after your personal account is removed.

Verification and timing

We respond to verified deletion requests and complete eligible deletion within 30 days, or sooner when possible. We will contact you if ownership or team access must be resolved first.

Deleting an account is permanent. Export anything you need before submitting the request.

Limited information we may retain

We may retain limited information only when required for security, fraud or abuse prevention, tax, legal, or regulatory obligations. Retained information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and is not kept as an active PlateSense account.

If a subscription is billed by Apple, Google, or another payment provider, cancel it with that provider before deleting your account to prevent future charges.
